vegetarians

so last night I ate raw ground beef...high quality kind but still raw. The first bite was ok but as I continued and started thinking about the cow that it came from (hard not to do when it's raw) it became harder and harder to eat. I think I'm coming close and closer to vegetarianism. Moral of the story...if you want to continue experience the joys of meat stay away from the raw stuff.

PS Sorry about the details Lina!

Next time we meet up, I'll make sure you'll get some common Dutch -fastfood- delicacies.

The BBQ-food Jan comes up with sounds okay, but I really wonder why in the world you would eat raw ground beef?! :S
Most 'traditional' food here doesn't really contain much meat at all and certainly no raw meat!!

Maybe in one of those places where you get shoarma and dunner kebab from their fresh slaughtered halal meat for a 'special price for you'!
...this is what foreigners here think is called integration. lol

Yeah, don't want to be rude, so 'sorry Lina'.

Well Lynn, I just tried to call you using the discount code that Albert sent...but it didn't work. So I called the expensive way, and you weren't there. Too bad. That was your only phone call. I'm not going to try again...just kidding! I hope you had a good weekend wherever you were.

Raw meat is delicious...I don't know what you are talking about. I will never forget my experience with "Jambon Cru" on the beach in Cassis. Yummy raw ham.

I realize now that I can respond to comments which is great! I didn't get sick from the raw meat and I haven't noticed any extra amounts of craziness coming from me so I think I'm fine:)! I think I will do as Jan did...try everything but I will be more honest about my preferences...the dutch are a lot more forgiving than the french when it comes to accepting their food...which appears not to be their food according to Albert. I think the food Albert is refering to happens to come out of a wall with a coin slot...yummy;D!

Kathryn you're going to have to get a laptop so that we can talk on msn while you are in class...I cannot imagine the pain you must be going through having to actually listen to the professor as opposed to me talking about everything unrelated;D! How's Catherine doing;)?

Hey Lynn, the symptons of mad-cow disease are usually not seen for a couple of years....but maybe stay away from raw meat - although it is probably healthier than anything comng out of those dutch "fast food" coin slot dispensing joints. You know - the ones that they fill up once a week with hotdogs or burgers.....

Hey, I thought you got a new camera?? Where are all the pictures??
